More than you bargained for!

While walking in the woods, [Knight] encountered a young man training, From the way he was using the sword, it was obvious that he was protected by the runes. [Knight] asked the young man if he would be interested in becoming a [Knight].
Swordsman: I live my life by the sword. I'm not interested in anything else.
[Knight]: ...
[Knight] tells him about the chaotic situation on the continent. That people have to do something about it to end the war.
Swordsman: I see. I understand what you are saying. However, as I told you, I live by the sword and I'm not interested in anything else.
[Knight] became annoyed.
[Knight]: You;re running away from everything.
[Knight] started to talk about how selfish it was of him to ignore the war that's going on. [Knight] also said that there are many swordsmen that are powerful in the war.
Swordsman: You may be right. Living in denial may be wrong. Also, I've heard about the Swordsmen and Knights in the war. I would like to have a match with them someday. You've cleared my vision, thank you... I have never wanted to work under any Lord, but... I guess I'll meet your lord.

[NOTE: The word 'swordman' is used several times in this dialogue. That's because in Japanese, the class of 'samurai' is actually 'swordman'.]
